Leadership

Lindsey Brace Martinez founded StarPoint Advisors in 2015 with a vision to enhance the number, scale and quality of competitive, sustainable investment options available to players in the capital markets.  She has committed over 30 years to building deep expertise and authentic connections within and across the disciplines of business, investing, and the natural sciences.  

 

As an executive at Cambridge Associates, Lindsey advised $100 million+ foundations, endowments and family offices and led the global consulting, external relations, and client services functions of the firm for 15 years. Prior to this role, she was lead portfolio manager for a commingled fund and several large separate accounts at Hancock Timber Resource Group, and a strategy and management consultant at Booz, Allen. 

 

Lindsey serves on the Boards of Impax Asset Management, Pax World Funds, Onward Energy and Seven Islands Land Management Company.  She has lectured at the Yale and Columbia business schools, presented at multiple sustainable investing symposia as well as at women’s leadership forums including 100 Women in Finance and the Women’s Association of Equity.  She has served on several investment committees, including the National Geographic Society, and Co-Chairs the Advisory Board for the Center for Business and Environment at Yale (CBEY).  She earned her MBA and Master of Environmental Studies from Yale University and a BA from Dartmouth College.
