The Managing Partner and senior investment team at a newly founded long/short hedge fund (Bain spin-out) was successful raising $450M from high net worth family investors. The team was interested in enhancing its’ brand and investment opportunities by diversifying the investor base with large institutional investors, like foundations and endowments, who were aligned with current investors and the firm’s vision. StarPoint worked with the senior team to design and implement a more institutionally-focused business development process, including marketing materials and messages, while also providing one-on-one coaching sessions with the senior team on how best to articulate its’ strategy.
